When I started Dri, I didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur. I just wanted to be someone who saw a problem and did something about it. After learning that 33 billion pounds of plastic enters our oceans annually, I knew my reusable water bottle and paper straws wouldn’t cut it. Thirty-three. Billion. Pounds. THAT’S INSANE!

I decided to help turn off the tap on ocean plastic, an environmental crisis choking our marine life and polluting the air we breathe and water we drink. How? By re-thinking a product everyone knows and no one loves — the umbrella.
